Brick as a block is excellent. I suppose you could use older-school blocks for him. Or Tetris blocks.
He put Kirel into Taylon. He is exempt from “sullying” The Race’s name.
And I think it’s crap. Entirely. We should boycott ever reading these ever again they are so terrible. And by terrible, I do not mean in the naturally good way. I mean that it does not capture the essence of Taylon. I could do a better job than you. I did, after all, claim second place over you in the script contest, thus proving that my scripting is superior to yours big ugly. Also Kirel’s sprite is by far superior in the original. You have destroyed Taylon you terrible person. You cannot make it “cool”. Roms has already done this. Trying to make it a sprite comic will suck, thanks to the inherent suckiness of sprite comics (8-bit theater excluded)

These things aren’t supposed to be better than Taylon, or even equal. They’re just supposed to be a crappy sprity version of it to hold you in between the real thing. There isn’t anything that can really hold anyone between the real thing, save No Lyatz, Elftor, Friend Bear, and Pokey.
Because Taylon is naturally SUPPOSED to look like crap. Not like… video game sprites (though I will admit that Vaska’s Tetris-Brick idea is an awesome one)
The drawing? In any case, the Taylon contest entry had some high points, but it was lacking in the sheer insanity that represents Taylon. It was, if anything, too normal.
I’m SORRY I’m not boosting your ego, Mr. Oblivion, but to call my distaste for your attempt at a Taylon “anti-Canadian hate” is a bit unrealistic. The latter part, while somewhat true, has no bearing on this argument.
You could have at least, you know, shut up. I don’t need anyone putting my comic down. If no one says anything about it, I’ll get the hint. You’re just being completely hateful towards my feeble attempts at making people laugh. The sheer effort put into these things, not to mention our relative online friendship, should be enough for you to at least pretend to not want to retch at my work. Boycotting it is not what I’d call reasonable or even curteous.

And I am especially upset that you simply cannot stand my comic, but lavish ‘praise’ on No Lyatz and whatnot. I’m not saying No Lyatz sucks, that would be a horrendous lie, but it’s no Taylon.
I simply tried to make a good comic, to make people happy, and perhaps make Roms feel ‘big’. I am shocked, disappointed and saddened that only Gil managed to say something civil about it. You’re a rather heartless bunch, especially you, Pipian.
And my other comic may have presented me as some sort of almighty superhero, but in case you hadn’t noticed, you and Squaba were the real main characters. I was simply the noble guy who fights well, soon to be overshadowed in skill and nobility by Py and Terra, respectively.
I was gonna make you an elf girl transformer, just further into the story after Terra had been introduced. Of course, I lost all motivation in the comic after MS Paint crashed repeatedly on the making of one of the episodes, so it’s a moot point now.
Bottom line, I tried to do something nice, and you guys acted like real jerks for no reason other than the fact that I was not up to par with your extremely insane standards. I think that’s pathetic and vile. I’d leave the forum forever, but at this point I’d be fooling no one.

I mentioned that it burnses me, but don’t think I meant that as a negative comment. I mean, many things burn me, like rays of sunshine (damn you vitamin D!), hot things, things that are on fire… you know, the usual. Pipian burnses me on a regular basis, so you’re already way head of the curve for only causing minor burning.
Jesus Christ, if you don’t like his comic that much just don’t read it. It’s that simple. Problem solved.

Any homage to Taylon is worth its weight in gold, I say.
