And I must say, Hell isn’t nearly the hell I thought it would be, at least with only one player.

Hell is hellish for me for I am barb meaning all my attacks are done right there directly to the enemy. This is where their lvl999999 charged bolt nova comes out and kills me in one hit and I can’t do anything about it because Im right there. Also I did manage to maintain a +7 lit resistance even when in Hell. Yet the dyings go on…
3 hours, I think.
And this is why I like the Assassin. She can attack at both close and long range and do a good amount of damage with both. Also, a +7 lightning resist in Hell is essentially a +0 lightning resist in Hell. It barely helps anything. If it makes you feel any better, fighting a lightning enchanted guy with +75 resist isn’t all that simple either.
I should also mention that I will be available for D2 tonight.
Necro=doesn’t actually fight. I got mauled by some fierce desert champion stone creature and its cohorts, and it wouldn’t let me near my corpse afterwards. But I eventually defeated it with a single level golem, and about four mana potions.
This is the safe approach. And having approximately 700 skeletons and skeleton mages along with golems and a hireling kind of makes it hard for the enemy to attack you personally.

They were previewing the multiplayer version at Quakecon, and the release date is, officially, “when it’s done.”
Duke Nukem Forever will definitely come out before Doom 3.
