Welcome to the Winnili.net forum!
First off, I’d like to thank the very kind and generous administrator of this excellent site for allowing me to have this forum here. I hope everyone else will appreciate it as much as I do. I’m the founder and initiative-taker behind Winnili.net.
All the rules of the psx-dude.net forums obviously apply. There are no additional rules, nor restrictions, for this particular forum though. However, I would really appreciate it if contributors would restrict threads and posts to the topics and discussions at hand, along with the orientation and focus of this particular forum. Naturally this forum will include news and put a very strong emphasis on my remote access OpenVMS cluster system, Winnili. (In case you weren’t familiar with it yet.)
Furthermore, I’d like to point out that there are countless Windows, Mac OS X and Linux forums (including the CompuThor forum, here on psx-dude.net), discussion platforms of any kind, social media groups and other sorts of communities out there. So, please use this forum if you’re sincerely interested in operating systems like HP/Compaq/DEC OpenVMS (or just VMS, where “Open” is silent), SGI IRIX, HP/Compaq/DEC Tru64, HP-UX, Oracle/Sun Solaris and similar or derived operating systems.
I do realize that VMS and UNIX/-derivatives are completely different. I trust and hope that you’ll still understand what this forum will be about. In other words: Discussions will be largely about the non—x86/-64 operating systems.
Either way, good luck and enjoy! Feel free to ask just about anything.
