It looks good, but I’m not exactly spasming with joy over changing the look of the forums when there’s other things you could do… Surely it would be better to make it so it displayed posting times correctly or something like that.

No, no…I mean it actually says “spider” under the Guest entry now for spiders, which it didn’t do before. It used to just say “Guest” in previous versions.
