The Great Debate

Folks, how are these posts relevant to the thread topic?

The thread was derailed after the first post and horribly derailed after Leon’s post.

There is no more topic to stay on.

and thus we are starting a topic about hippos.

in fact, i am making a new rule: every off-topic thread must inevitably mention hippos at some point.

Sh*t, what kind of a hard-on to you have for me?? I wasn’t even aware of Leon/Misty/Matt’s toying with the Misty account, until MATT was the one who told me of “the goings on at PSX, you should take a look, Chris.”

Wait, Squall’s gotta be here somewhere…right? “Squall’s plotting something, I can feel it…” “Everyone stand ready…be vigilant…any newbie could be Squall,” a good one from elsewhere, back in the day. Next I would’ve expected “there’s no telling what he’s capable of,” to top off all the free press and advertising I got.

I actually consider leaving the subject, and am once again brought up.

Maybe I should thank you, Drag. You remind me of my duties to fight the great causes for freedom and speech and what not, once again.

EDIT: Not once mentioning Pipian’s attempted-hijack subject. The real subject is people having rules for “outsiders” in their specialized cliques that they’d despise having put on them by a governing body. In a word, selfishness.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, shell-fishness.

…Wait a minute, I do not like shell fish.

A new debate…more links to follow.

“We believe in God, and that God has created us in his image. In being created in God’s image, we are given his perfect immune system. We are bestowed with His gift, the immune system. We believe it is sacrilegious and a violation of our sacred religious beliefs to violate what God has given us by showing a lack of faith in God. Immunizations are a lack of faith in God and His protection, the immune system,” the father maintains.

Ok, I guess crazy religious people should have free will to decide what is best for their child as much as anyone else but on the other hand if they are so willing to endanger their child maybe they aren’t responsible and/or sensible enough to look after children of their own.

Also if God gave them their immune system, didn’t god give those men/women the knowlege to obtain and administer that cure.

BAM! Take that Religon!

You guess they should have the freedom? What the f***? It was forced on them with armed guards. You might be okay with allowing the injections without any say in the matter, but God help me…it’s police state actions. They ostensibly have…had?..the right to choose, and it was taken away from them. How soon until other things are? (And for those of you who think that’s highly unlikely, I’ll illuminate you on what other freedom of choice has been eliminated recently).

Funny, too…I’d have thought someone would comment on the fact of Squall raising issue (violently) over actions undertaken by a Republican Party government. Oh well, can’t expect everyone to actually reason things out and note something rather strange, knowing my past history…
