At least FOX wised up and decided to bring Family Guy back.
I’m still waiting for the return of Futurama.
[adult swim] gives me the necessary Family Guy and Futurama fix I need to keep from turning into a shriveled husk of a man, not unlike so many diseased raisins.
Smackdown!, the lesser of WWE’s two flagship shows, regularly pulls at least one full rating point more than The OC, yet the OC is still hyped as hot and mega-popular. I swear that stuff like this isn’t pushed to make money or please the masses, because it does neither. I think some people who work for networks just want america to start watching a certain type of entertainment because it would make things easier for them and their teams of braindead writers, so they figure that if they make a terrible show and CLAIM that people watch it and that it is great, eventually people will watch it, and believe it is great.
But Smackdown is a terrible show.

I have been told this more than once. Plus, their news associate is terrible. Adult swim is good, and Comedy Central is good, as long as you only watch South Park, Chapelle’s Show, and The Daily Show. Along with a few stand up performances by good comedians.
This is not accurate. The Simpsons hasn’t been funny for years. So technically, NOTHING on Fox remains great.
Also, to Weasel: You somehow missed Reno 9-11.
Reno 9-11 is one of the worst shows on Comedy Central since “Stangers with Candy”.

I find Strangers with Candy infinitely more annoying than Reno 9-11. Just looking at that woman’s face made me want to cut open my own intestines and watch all the fun stuff that came out, because that would be more pleasant than her face.

Yes, yes it is. But it’s still way better than the OC, and American viewers know it. So Fox is even dumber since they can’t even outdo a bad show.
Fox hasn’t been the same since X-Files ended.
To be brutally honest, I didn’t think Fox even existed anymore. I just assumed that they sucked so much that some higher power had erased them from existence.
