if you could have any mutant powers (x-men or other) what would it be and why?

I would not want to be a filthy mutant. They are evil, and should be killed for our safety.

Actually, mutant powers are inherently cursed, that’s why the X-Men are so tortured. So I’d probably have to go with flight or Mr. Fantastic’s stretchy ability.

Or just be the Incredible Hulk.

The blind and intactile. Can’t feel very good to hold the hand of a chunk of orange rock.

Telepathy/Telekinesis…I always know what the enemy is about to do…well usually know what they are about to do…and they never see who messed up their plan…

Hmm, what a great question…one I have pondered since I was a single celled organism. Let’s see…I think the mutant power of choice would be magneto’s. With it comes flight (as long as there is a magnetic field around). I would also combine it with professor X’s, so I’m not prone to telepathic attacks. But, if there are other mutants in this world where I have my powers, then I would go with mimic’s mutant power.

Professor X just because he is so damn powerful. Technically I don’t see how Magneto can stand up to him because ProfX can move all metal with his mind so hes got Magneto’s powers plus his telekinesis. If I couldn’t be ProfX I would want teleportation.

Huh?? Maybe you’re thinking of Jean Grey. Anyway, it is true that she can move things with her mind, but it takes a lot of concentrating (and not nearly enough telekenetic powers to rival magneto’s magnetic field manipulation). Here are the professors powers:

  • Mental probe
  • Mental invisibility
  • Mental blast of stunning intensity, 20 area range.
  • Ability to alter or erase a target’s memories.
  • Astral Form
  • Mutant Detection

Well I am under the impression that the Professor has telekinetic powers, if he doesn’t, I think I’m still going with his.
