Intel vs. AMD - What do you run?

I currently have a system with a Core i7 920 that has served me well for the last couple of years but I keep thinking its time to upgrade. I used to run nothing but AMD systems because of cost and never had an issue with them. So let’s start a discussion

What do you currently use in your system?
Do you have a preference for Intel or AMD?
Been burned by either one before?

I have a AMD Quad 3.1 on My machine, and then there is the dual core 3.0 Also AMD and I haven’t had much issues I have i5 Core 2.4 Dual core HP laptop I use for podcasting and sometimes just to keep up with Social Media while out on the road.
