I have one major problem with these picks: it is now too late for me to take advantage of your sports knowledge to place a bet. Next year, how about working a little bit faster?
Also, I have a question for those of you who go to UofM or are Gil: Michigan got in some trouble with the NCAA because someone on the basketball team gambled back in 1844, so there was some sort of postseason ban. Then the ban was lifted, but they are still banished to some lesser, crappy tourney. Please increase my knowledge on this matter with your magic words.
They were eligible for the good tournament this year, but didn’t make it because they aren’t very good.
As for the picks, I don’t know if you want to be betting with those. I had state in the elite 8 and they are already out because Paul Davis is a moron and can’t stop from fouling. I also picked Western to go to the sweet 16 on the advice of Steiger who claiimed they were good but instead they got wrecked first round. As for the rest, we will see how it goes.
I’m sick of these teams having a chance to win/tie at the end but being complete fucking morons on the last possession. Stanford did fine with theres, worked the ball got a good look at a three it just didn’t go in. Maryland however is the worst team ever. I’m never picking them to win another game ever again. We’ve got 7 seconds left so lets dribble the ball uncontrollably down the court and then get off a sideways fadeaway 20 footer with 2 guys in our face. PASS THE FUCKING BALL GOD DAMMIT!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH SO MUCH HATE
It’s okay. No one in the world is going to be anything above 50% on their brackets. Georgia Tech is going to win it all, though, just so you know. At least, the sign on my door says they will.
EDIT: I’m currently 30/48, which I think is rather dismal. Also, I had Stanford in the championship game, so it’s only going to get worse from here.
