Why the hell are we making exemptions against long-held policy? Because we lack posters? How about you actually make something that attracts new posters instead of bwringing back posters that threaten the stability of our community with their presence (see the number of flame wars Leon has inevitably entered. Not caused, but been a target of)?

Hitler’s right, you should at least stick to your guns about the two-week ban. This makes you seem less credible and even infers favoritism, a definite turn-off for new (and old) members.

It wouldn’t be so bad if you just didn’t ban anyone, but banning and unbanning us all is rather weak.

Let’s see: 7/2 to 7/9. That’s 1 week. Also it is amusing to see how hypocritical Chris is by not unbanning Cal, though he seems quite willing to unban Leon.

Ok, I’ll stick my nose in this time. Chris is the Admin, and can do what he wants. I’d like to point out 1st it was Oblivion 1st and then dragon and [then] I was unbanned. In that order. If he wishs to bann us again for 1 full week so that punishment is applied in full then thats fine, but again he’s the admin and the owner and can do as he likes. This is not to be meant as offensive or the start of a argument just a observation.

ugh. It’s just… So disappointing to see Chris returning to his old wishy washy ways. As if the forums will get more popular just because Leon is here. It needs something to attract new people. Not old people sticking around, and certainly not flamebait (Sorry Leon, but you are. You are the #1 most flamed person in these forums, and the reason why 75% of flame wars here start. Cal being the other 25%. Not that you start them, but most people here are annoyed with you and your antics at best (see Oblivion, myself, Romshand, Vaska). As a threat to the stability of these forums, it is troublesome for you to stay. Even new people who come flame you (Oblivion) so merely kicking out the people who flame Leon won’t work. You’ll just keep kicking and kicking and kicking until the only few people who are left are Leon, Chris, Chembot, and Leon’s friends. It will take time I will grant because most people are not interested in flaming. But it will happen.).

I’d like to point out that this forum is still better moderated than those at Bobandgeorge.com, who routinely lock threads that contain unpopular opinions, display favoritism, and banned Trot in under 45 minutes for saying furries should die.

Wells, this has gone on long enough

I never really thought of fate as being something, even remotely nice. The reason for this was because. I always saw it as some pre-ordained destiny, and I never liked the fact that I would not be the master of my own destiny, but I wonder if fate and destiny are so like one another that the belief in them makes us look to a higher being to control our lives. A way as to not accept some of the blame ourselves and point to fate when something goes wrong and say, “I guess it was meant to be”. Makes me wonder if fate and destiny is just a cover for our own inhabitions or something worth exploring further.
