Off topic, I am writing this from the testing room, in which in five minutes, I will be taking the first part of the MS Office Certification program. Its not that big a deal, but still important.

Regarding the first round of my MS Office certification, I aced the Powerpoint test, so now I am officially certified in Powerpoint, but I flubbed my Word test, missing by 11 points out of 1000. I’ll take it again tomorrow, along with the excel test. Then comes the Access, Outlook, and Project tests on Monday. Right now I’m wondering what I got myself into.
You’ve gotten yourself into Microsoft. I can’t imagine you hadn’t envisioned this when you decided to test for certification.

Well, those are only the Office tests. Then comes the other eight billion other tests I need to get MCSE certification.
I think I realized something here, with the price of these tests…
Extra money I’ll make with certification - cost of certification = $0
They’ll come a time when you’ll be better off from doing the exams. You’ll retire the next year.
